On August 30, 2007, Dr. Hu Xiang, chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation framework agreement with PIYAVATE Hospital in Thailand on behalf of the company, making PIYAVATE Hospital the company’s first stem cell technology and clinical research partner in Thailand.
Thailand has rich resources and experience in tourism medical care and enjoys a high reputation internationally. PIYAVATE Hospital is one of the three larger hospitals in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, with good medical facilities and service levels. Signing a cooperation agreement with PIYAVATE Hospital is an important step for the company’s business expansion overseas.
At the press conference before the signing ceremony, Dr. Hu Xiang also gave a slideshow lecture on the company and stem cell technology to the participants, which was warmly welcomed. Thailand’s three state-run television stations and many other news media conducted interviews on the signing ceremony and press conference.
