On September 28, Wang Yubo, deputy secretary of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee and governor, held a working meeting with Hu Junyuan, chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., in Kunming.
Wang Yubo introduced the situation of Yunnan Province and the achievements of the “Three Positions” construction. He pointed out that industry is the foundation of a strong province, and the biopharmaceutical industry is one of the key industries to be built in Yunnan. We have specifically planned and implemented three-year actions to accelerate the construction of a 100-billion-level industry. It is hoped that enterprises will focus on the biomedicine and comprehensive health industry chain, accelerate the implementation of relevant cooperation projects, and achieve their goals of becoming bigger and stronger, assisting industry development, and benefiting the people. The two parties exchanged views on strengthening the docking of advantages, strengthening cooperation in cell therapy, wearable medical devices, health services and other fields, and working together to build industrial bases and research institutions.
Wang Yubo and Hu Junyuan jointly witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation framework agreement between the Yunnan Provincial Government and Beike Biotech, as well as the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Beike Biotech and Qujing Municipal Government.
