[International Standards Information] ISO releases 2019 ISO management system standard certification survey report

ISO/CASCO is responsible for organizing the investigation of global ISO management system standard certification certificates and releases investigation reports every year. The National Certification and Accreditation Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC261) is the domestic counterpart committee of the International Organization for Standardization Conformity Assessment Committee (ISO/CASCO). Recently, the SAC/TC261 Secretariat received notification from ISO/CASCO that the results of the 2019 survey report on ISO management system standard certification certificates have been released. The survey results show the number of valid certificates as of December 31, 2019, including country statistics for 12 management system standards, as well as the number of fields and sites covered. The survey is an annual routine survey conducted by ISO, and the data source is certification bodies recognized by members of the International Accreditation Forum Multilateral Mutual Recognition Agreement (IAF MLA). ISO made a special explanation of the contents of this survey report.

2019 ISO Management System Standard Certification Survey Instructions

Background situation:

ISO Management System Certificate Survey is an annual routine survey of valid certification certificates for ISO management system standards around the world. The source of data provided is certification bodies recognized by signatory members of the International Accreditation Forum Multilateral Mutual Recognition Agreement (IAF MLA).

Survey results:

The table below shows the total number of valid certificates for each standard covered by the survey and the total number of sites covered. More detailed results for each standard can be found on the ISO website. For each criterion, the number of certificates and the number of sites are shown side by side to provide a more complete picture. A certificate is a document issued by a certification body after a client confirms compliance with its standards. The location is the permanent location where the organization performs work or services.
