Leaders of the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau went to Beike Biotech to hold the “Standard Innovation Demonstration Base” licensing ceremony and research activities

On the afternoon of June 11, 2020, a group of 6 people including Shi Shizhen, Director of the Standards Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation and Zhang Zengying, President of the Municipal Association for the Promotion of Excellent Performance Management, arrived at Beike Biotechnology held the awarding ceremony of the “2019 Shenzhen Standard Innovation Demonstration Base”.
The research team visited the Shenzhen Comprehensive Cell Bank Science Museum. Director Shi Shizhen inquired in detail about Beike Biotech’s technological innovation, standardization innovation construction and other achievements in the cell field, as well as the industry development prospects. Subsequently, the two parties held a discussion and exchange,Beike Biotechnology was awarded the “Shenzhen Standard Innovation Demonstration Base”. The award ceremony was hosted by Shi Zhen, Director of the Standards Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation.
Subsequently, Xu Shaokun, director of Beike Biotechnology Quality Management Center and senior engineer, gave a detailed introduction to the research group on the basic situation of Beike Biotechnology’s standardization construction and innovation work. Beike Biotechnology has always attached great importance to standardization-related work, actively introduced guidance from standardization research institutions, and formed a complete internal enterprise standardization management. Through the combination of more than a dozen modules and more than 500 documents, coordinated operations have improved the standardization management system for cell quality from donors to preparation to testing, and innovated full-time standardization personnel in the field of cultured cells.
While building internal standardization work within the company, Beike Biotechnology is also constantly promoting standardization in the cell industry and actively participating in the preparation of industry standards, local standards, and technical specifications. Recruited the first batch of experts from the Shenzhen Standard Library and led the drafting and compilation of the Shenzhen local standards “SZDB/Z 188-2016 Construction and Management Specifications for Cell Preparation Centers” and “SZDB/Z 266-2017 Comprehensive Cell Bank Setup and Management Specifications” from 2016 to 2017, which provided useful reference for the formulation of industry standards for cell therapy technology in my country. And joined the Shenzhen Excellence Promotion Association’s standardization management training, standardization system seminars and other work to jointly promote the development of Shenzhen’s standardization work. In the future, Beike’s biological standardization construction will develop in a higher direction, actively strive to lead the application for national standard projects, participate in international standardization work, and strive to win the international status of cell industry standardization.
The research team conducted in-depth exchanges with relevant personnel of Beike Biotech on issues such as corporate standardization construction and innovation, and the demonstration role of the base.
