In order to vigorously develop the “four major engine industries” such as bioeconomy, Heilongjiang Province has successively formulated“Heilongjiang Province’s “14th Five-Year Plan” Bioeconomy Development Plan” and “Heilongjiang Province’s Several Policies and Measures to Support High-Quality Development of the Bioeconomy” and other relevant policy documents. The just-concluded 13th Provincial Party Congress also made it clear that in the next five years, Heilongjiang will focus on promoting the development of the “four major engine industries” such as digital economy, bio-economy, ice and snow economy, and creative design, transform methods and structures, promote high-quality development, and meet people’s yearning for a better life at a higher level. The main policies include providing rewards, subsidies and financial support in 17 aspects to enterprises building processing and manufacturing projects in the fields of biomedicine, biomanufacturing, bioagriculture, bioenergy, bioenvironmental protection and biomedical engineering in Heilongjiang Province. Financial support of up to 50 million yuan will be provided to bioeconomy “head goose” teams that innovate and start businesses in Heilongjiang Province.
