On the morning of May 27, the 12th Shenzhen Migrant Youth Workers Cultural and Sports Festival Mountaineering Activity was held in the picturesque Maluanshan Country Park, attracting more than 200 migrant youth workers from all districts in the city to participate in the competition.
This event is jointly sponsored by the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee, the Municipal Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and other departments, hosted by the Pingshan New District Public Utilities Bureau, and co-organized by the Maluanshan Country Park Management Office. Three runners from Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd. ran about 3.6 kilometers in 19 minutes and 32 seconds. They were the first to reach the top of the mountain and cross the finish line, winning the first place.
Mountain climbing activities are one of the 26 permanent projects of the Shenzhen Migrant Youth Workers Cultural and Sports Festival. With the theme of “Exhibiting the Style of Migrant Youth Workers and Drawing a Blueprint for China’s Dreams”, it includes mountaineering competition team competitions and mass mountaineering activities. The mountaineering team competition adopts a timed competition, with two men and one woman forming a team, and the results will be calculated only when three athletes cross the finish line at the same time.
The mass walking activity is carried out after the competitive team competition players set off. On the way to the mountain, the foreign young workers not only enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way, but also fully enjoyed the endless happiness brought by the mountain climbing activity. Everyone rushed to the top, encouraged each other, and all reached the top of the mountain with full enthusiasm.
